Although it was declared obsolete in 1985, the B-10 82mm RCL is still being used by the Russian Army. It is probably being used by several other former Soviet states, as well.
The B-10 recoilless rifle is a smooth bored weapon that fires fin-stabilized rounds. It fires a HEAT round with an effective range of 437 yards (400m) and a HE round with an effective range of 2.8 miles (4,500m).
This B-10 RCL is towed on a two wheeled carriage. It is usually dismounted and assembled on a tripod for firing, but can be fired from the carriage in an emergency.
This anti-tank weapon weighs only 193 pounds (87.6kg), so can be manhandled quite easily.
The HEAT round weighs 7.93 pounds (3.6kg) can penetrate 9.45 inches (240mm) of armor at 437 yards (400m).
The B-10 recoilless rifle has a maximum rate of fire of up to seven rounds per minute, presumably against static targets.
